1950 ~ March 18, 2024
My oldest brother Frank died today. His wonderful wife Nina was at his side every step of his long battle with cancer. I’m thankful he found her some 25+ years ago. His life became blessed with her unexpected arrival. And I’m grateful, despite the sorrow, for having him as my brother. An eccentric (it runs in the family) with a very big heart. I have many wonderful memories of him to take me the rest of the way down this road. And I’m very grateful he got to be around for the arrival of my granddaughter. He said she looked like a baby painted by Diego Rivera.
But damn, I wish he’d had more time.
