Found a little more information about Lou’s life. He retired in 2000 from the Bellmore-Merrick school district where he served as a science teacher in the Brookside and Merrick Ave. schools. Found a document from 1983 that indicated Lou had been an assistant boys varsity coach for 11 years at Mepham HS, a jv boys coach at Kennedy HS for a year, and was in his fourth year as the jr high girls coach at Brookside Junior High where he worked. At the time he was also a travel team coach and President of the East Islip Soccer Club
