~~~~~~~~~~~ MY WORSE NIGHTMARE…~~ Actually came true when my oldest son Anthony was diagnosed with leukemia. This is a nightmare I wish I could wake up from. It is one that words can’t describe just how painful it is to live through day to day. It rips and tears at my heart every waking moment of my life. And every night before I fall asleep, as I say my prayers I fall asleep crying and pleading with God to please save his life and cure him. It clogs all of my conscious thoughts with What if’s ? and what else I could do to stop it. It has taught me that I really don’t have as much control over life as I thought I did, and how hard it is to surrender all of it, the fears,concerns,worries and ultimately the outcome over to the one and only GOD…So if your reading this, keep my boy in your prayers for complete remission and 100 % success with his bone marrow transplant he is about to have very soon….(UPDATE)…Anthony had his transplant Dec 3rd 2006.
