Dennis Charles Friedrich Dennis Charles Friedrich, 69, of Barboursville, died on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at his home. Born on June 7, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Charles John Friedrich and Loretta Kelly Friedrich. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Edward Friedrich. Dennis attended Drexell University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served in the United States Navy for four years. Dennis retired June 30, 2009, from the County of Albemarle after 39 years of service.

Survivors include his wife Norma J. Stogdale Friedrich formerly of Staunton; two daughters, Stefanie Diane Friedrich of Richmond, Virginia, and Renee Denise Eichman and her husband, Todd Eichman of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Heather Elizabeth Eichman and Lauren Nicole Eichman of Suffolk; a sister-in-law, Marion “Cookie” Friedrich; two nieces and one nephew all of New York.
