Buchter, Martin J. RENSSELAER Martin J. Buchter, age 72 of Rensselaer, died on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the Albany Medical Center. Martin was the son of the late Albert and Margaret Buchter. Martin has been a Capital District area resident for many years and had been employed at Wadsworth Research Lab in Albany. Martin loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking in the woods. Martin is survived by his lifetime partner, Mark Jeff Osinsky of Rensselaer. Cousins also survive him. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Wednesday, September 26, at 2 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday in the New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
