September 8, 1942 ~ March 31, 2022

It is with unbearable sorrow that I report the passing of my dear Mother.

Leslie Trent was kind.

She was warm, caring, and stunningly beautiful. Always easy to smile and laughed louder than anyone I know.

She was brilliant, insightful, curious, ambitious, sophisticated and passionate.

She did what she wanted when she wanted to. At times she could be impetuous, obstinate or even reckless. But Mom lived life fully, and on no one else’s terms but hers.

She was also the most giving person imaginable. Totally devoid of judgment and someone who simply wanted the people and animals she loved to be happy.

She was a unique soul.

My Mother raised me and she was my hero. Our bond was unbreakable. Everything I am, is because of her.

We will always be together. I love you.

(As her passing was so unexpected, and on the direct heels of my Brother-In-Law’s passing, we need a few days to make arrangements for a public service. We will have more details but are planning on Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach later next week, and then a small gathering in NY later in the spring/early summer. Love to everyone
