This is Marylou’s husband, Bill Kay, with some devastating news. I have waited almost a week to post on Facebook , but people are asking me to!

This past Sunday evening July 24, my brilliant and beautiful wife of 28 years suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away at a local hospital.

I am still in a state of shock, we were packing for our trip to Barcelona 3 days away then a 7 day cruise to the south of France! We were supposed to be traveling with my sister Ave’ and her husband Ed.

Everything is a blur but with the help of our families and my wonderful neighbors here in Valencia Lakes we will muddle through.

I had posted on our Nextdoor and on Linked in ( Marylou has over 5,000 contacts) and the outpouring of love has been overwhelming!

We are having a celebration of Marylou this coming Wednesday , August 3rd at Sun City Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Dr. , Sun City Center, Fl, 33573 at 9:30 a.m.

Following there will be a mass at the church we attended and she volunteered, Prince of Peace Church, 702 Valley Forge Blvd, Sun City Center, Fl , 33573. The mass will start promptly at 11:00 a.m.

I’m lieu of flowers please send a donation to the animal rescue site of your choice or to the organization that Marylou donated her time and translating skills( she spoke 5 languages).

I am also planning a trip back to Long Island in early September to share the love and affection that all had for Marylou and the wonderful family she has.
