1952 ~ December 17, 2022
To my friends and family, I’m saddened to say that my father went home to be with Lord Saturday afternoon. We are grieving at the fact that he will no longer physically be with us here on Earth. Yet we are rejoicing that he has finished the race that he began back in 1981, when he came to know the Lord. Dad always spoke with such enthusiasm about the day he would cross over into The Kingdom. He always jokingly said how mad we would be with us if we prayed him back after entering Heaven. He was surrounded by his family and close loved ones, in an environment of pure love, passion and the Spirit. My mother said it best when we came together after receiving the news: “He was never ours, he was never mine; we were just borrowing him and we knew that one day he’d be where he belonged.” I will miss him so much, but I know how happy he is, rejoicing with our departed loved ones in Paradise. Rest Easy Pop, I’ll keep an eye on our Yankees for ya. And I know you’ll be at every ball game I attend until I join you one day! I love you ![]()
