I cannot believe I am writing this right now but I know how deeply he was loved, so it breaks my heart to share that my oldest brother Matthew went to heaven yesterday, suddenly. My family and I are in shock and uncertain how to process all of this at the moment. This was unexpected and a shock to us all, so bare with us as we gather all the details.
He lived in Florida with roots in New York, and was the proudest Italian man I’ve ever met, who just radiated love to all his family, friends, and animals. His love stretched the length of the east coast, and now will stretch even farther, reaching us all from Heaven. I wanted to thank anyone who reached out and I will do my best to post updates about services and memorials to follow. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today, and remember to celebrate this life that God gave us, just like Matthew would want us to.
Matthew, my handsome big brother, I love you endlessly and unconditionally. Please, give Mom and Mimi the biggest hugs and kisses for me. I will continue on in this broken life for you all, and because of you all, knowing that one day we will all be reunited again. Wait for me…

I am shocked and deeply sadden to learn of Matthew’s passing. I got to know this kind and generous young man at his work place. Three months ago he volunteered his help when I was moving to a new apartment. I can’t tell you how hard he worked to help me make the move. I stopped by to drop some things off at his workplace to shockingly learn we lost him. I am truly at a loss for words. Matthew you will be so missed. You were a special and kind hearted young man. I am grateful for knowing you and will never forget you.
