John Schnorr, 80, passed away on May 9, 2022. John grew up in New York, came to California in 1968, and worked as a personnel analyst for insurance and utility companies in the San Francisco Bay Area prior to retiring in 1993. After retirement, John led historical walking tours in San Francisco and did volunteer work for a San Francisco library before moving to Oceanside in 2008.

John was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Jim and brother Kenneth; he is survived by cousins and their families in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Internment following cremation was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.
