Val lived by the motto “that to have a friend you have to be a friend”. Good friends are like stars. You don’t always see them, but you know they are there. That is why you have to cherish them and show your appreciation for them as much as you can. Remember, nothing lasts forever. Only memories remain. Forever in my heart Buddy…

Val was one-of- a-kind and an inspiration to everyone, especially those of us facing a major health issue. Through it all she stayed positive and strong, even managing to lend her strength to others. She will be sorely missed and remembered for the grace in which she lived her life.

I have met the family and I know Valerie had a awesome Mom, husband, and her 2 sons. She loved them all and they were very supportive through her battle.. I’m so proud to have met Val and she was a part of my life. I have learned from her to fight and not give up. One of the most beautiful, positive & strongest women that I have met. I told her over 1 hundred times she is an amazing person.
