September 27, 1942 ~ June 25, 2013

George F. Taylor, of Thousand Oaks, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, after a sudden Illness. George was born September 27, 1942, in Flushing, N.Y., and has be a resident of Ventura County for 43 years.

George was a graduate of Wantagh High School and received a degree in electrical engineering from Northrop University. He was an engineer for Litton and Northrop Grumman. Once retired, George was able to devote his time to woodworking, traveling in the motor home and enjoying backyard BBQ’s with family and friends.

He was the heart of the family and always made us laugh. George was dearly loved and we’ll miss him forever.

George is survived by Sharon; brother, Jim; ex-wife, Katherine; sons, George and Greg; daughters-in-law, Kathleen and Jennifer; grandchildren, Drew, Gavin and Reagan; nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

A visitation and rosary was held Thursday, June 27, 2013. George’s family will be celebrating his life on July 6, 2013, 12 noon at his home.
