Patricia Elizabeth Donaldson, 75, of Honesdale and formerly of Lindenhurst, NY, died on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene Donaldson. The couple married on May 11, 1974.

Born on January 24, 1948 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Farrell) White.

Patricia was vice president of First American Insurance Company for many years. Locally she drove for Wayne County Transportation where she enjoyed meeting others and making friends.

She and Gene enjoyed traveling in their RV and boating when they lived on Long Island. Pat was always there to help and will be remembered as a caring and loving person.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Betsy Assande of Wantagh, NY; her step-son, Michael Donaldson and wife Donna of Reno, NV; sister-in-law, Sylvia Donaldson of Lewisburg, FL; her nephews, Anthony and Patrick Assande; step-grandchildren, Cody Balch and Ashley Macias. She is also survived by her step-great grandchildren Audrey and Elliott Macias and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara White and step-daughter, Michelle Balch.
