April 18, 1943 ~ June 30, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Krulder, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, on June 30, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born on April 18, 1943, in Pennsylvania, Patricia was the firstborn child of Paul and Emma Lou Costello. She was later joined by her younger brother, Paul Jr., whom she loved dearly.
After moving to Wantagh, Patricia met the love of her life, Richard. Their relationship quickly blossomed into a deep and enduring love, and they were married on June 16, 1963. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories, sharing more than six decades of marriage.
Patricia had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel loved. She was always there to answer the phone, offer a helping hand, or simply listen when someone needed her. She delighted in organizing Christmas parties and friend lunches, bringing loved ones together and creating traditions that will be treasured for generations. She also found great joy in filling her digital photo frame with pictures of the people she loved, celebrating every milestone and keeping those closest to her always near.
One of Patricia’s greatest pleasures was watching the birds in her garden, especially the cardinals she so dearly loved. There is a saying: “When a cardinal appears, a loved one is near.” From now on, whenever we see a cardinal, we will think of Patricia and know that her love and spirit remain with us.
Patricia is survived by her son, David; her daughter, Kelli; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lindsay, Eric and Kyle; her great-grandson, Jameson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Those who knew Patricia will always remember her kindness, intelligence, beauty, quick wit, and genuine, caring spirit.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s life at the South Chapel of Massapequa Funeral Home on Monday, July 6, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patricia’s memory to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Rest in peace, Patricia. Your love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to your family will never be forgotten. Though you are no longer with us in person, your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
