It is with my deepest sorrow to know that I just lost such an incredible friend! Alison Thiel has been a lifelong friend and for the last 35 years we remained so close! She would call me her Dove Chocolate Lady! Inside joke!
Alison was one of the kindest people on this earth. She was feisty, she was a no nonsense kind of gal when everyone wants to be friends with!
We’d talk to each other at least two or three times a week for years and years. I don’t know what I’ll do without those phone calls! But I do know I’ll be talking to her a lot and that she’ll always be with us!
How do you sum up 68 years of life at a social media post! You can’t! But I can’t tell you is she loved life and took everything with a grain of salt and it was never wind me or pour me!
I’m proud to have been Alison’s Friend/Sister after all these decades and I will never forget her!

It is with great sadness, coupled with relief, that I am letting you know about the passing of Alison Thiel yesterday. She was a true Wantagh Warrior to the very end, but a most gracious and loving God made a perfect softball field in heaven and called her home to be His star pitcher. She passed yesterday and there will be no services at this time. I will remember our phone calls filled with laughs and “remember when” moments. We always ended each call or text with an “I love you”. Please say a prayer for her husband Artie and brother Chris as they navigate this new norm. Rest easy now, Ali, we love you

So sorry and sad 😭 for the loss of such a beautiful friend for life 💖. Rest in Peace 🕊️🕊️ Angel 🙏😇🙏😇. No more suffering 🙏
RIP my old friend
